Basset Hound Rescue of Michigan
Saving one hound at a time...
This year the BHROM Brigade will be a two day event. The dates are May 19 and May 20.
May 19: BHROM's carnival picnic!
The carnival picnic will take place from 11:00am-4:00pm at Orion Oaks Dog Park. 1200 Joslyn Rd, Lake Orion, MI · (248) 858-0906
The event this year will feature a silent auction, including a silent auction for King and Queen of the parade, a raffle, Bingo and games.
This is a fun, family friendly event with lots of thing for the kids to do including people and dog games that run all day. For adults over age 21, Bingo will be played in the pavilion starting at 1:00.
The picnic is for Basset Hounds and Basset mixes only unless prior approval is given by me (Christina Brookshire) or by LInda Ross.
May 20: BHROM Brigade!
We are in the Birmingham parade again this year. This parade is perfect for our Bassets as it is not too long and everyone just loves to see them. The King and Queen will lead the Brigade. The parade details as to time are still pending as I'm waiting for the setup from the city but it will almost certainly be at 1:00pm. Everyone needs to be at the parade at 11am as streets close right afterwards.
